Dympna Kennedy founded Creating Balance, a leading edge parenting organization that encourages parents to connect more closely with their children through improved communication and greater understanding of their children’s behaviour & needs.

Through her continued research and work with young children, Dympna discovered that even young children can experience varying levels of stress, which can directly impact their ability to learn, relax and develop friendships. Determined to find suitable solutions to this issue, Dympna has attended over 30 professional development courses, many under Dr Stephen Matthey, Associate Professor, School of Psychology, University of Sydney , including deep brain learning, brain development and neuroscience, infant mental health, baby massage, baby yoga, reflexology, rehabilitation, perinatal depression and anxiety and a number of specific courses regarding baby behaviours.

Dympna regularly presents workshops to organizations such as Creating Links, Learning Links, Karitane, Burnside, Catholic Care, Uniting Church, Koorana Playgroups, Family Law Lawyers (Sydney & Parramatta), South East Neighbour Centre, school parent groups and council groups.

"I really wanted to tap into your amazing skills and as someone who works with young children from a developmental and neurological perspective I felt Infant Massage & Baby Yoga was an area I should explore. I am delighted with the infomation and awed by your exceptional skill and the love you conved in your presentation.
I seen the total delight and joy in the group as they gained the confidence & ability to interact joyfully with their babies. Your class is the start of a lifetime of good self esteen & a great sense of personal well being for the baby as well as the mother." Shanagh Sangster, NTSD, NDT & Kinesiologist - Waitara

"I was excited to attend as I had a friend who had researched various Infant Massage Classes prior. I had already been massaging my son but was keen to learn additional techniques to relax him.
It was so reassuring to know the benefits for my son by giving him massage and introducing the various exercises to him plus I learnt how to truly relax him.
In fact I learnt so much in this class that it was the best money I have spent on him. I would recommend Dympna's class to anyone who has a baby or is expecting one. This is an excellent class for both mums and dads to bond with their bubs. Dympna is an awesome teacher with a great personality." Yumi Fujimoto - Canada Bay
