A creative approach to Trauma Recovery for Children and Adults

Trauma can happen when a person experiences an unexpected event that they were unprepared for and could do nothing to prevent it from happening. Trauma is not measured by the event itself but rather by how the person experienced the event.

Wrapped in Angels is a unique therapeutic group designed to help children and adults to heal from trauma through the process of making a blanket. The group aims to assist individuals to explore their strengths and skills, reminding them of who they are and what keeps them safe. The process enables individuals to reconnect with themselves and people around them and identify what represents love, warmth, safety and protection for them. The blanket becomes a symbol that can remind children and adults of their resilience, strengths and journey.

Bookings are Essential. Children over 8 can attend the group as well. Please contact Veronica or Stefanie for further details.8425 8700
