Are you an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person? Or a carer or partner of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person (child or adult)?

Have you experienced life events that are weighing you down?
Is anxiety or low mood limiting your enjoyment of life or affecting relationships?
Are you struggling with strong emotions?
Is daily life a struggle?

Steps to Healing is a gentle group program which gives you the tools to live a more positive life. It is a Culturally safe program.

Learn to live life from the feet up rather than from the head down!

Facilitated by Aboriginal workers who have extensive experience and training.

It is an open group, which means that you can attend whenever you are able. To get the best out of the program it is advised that you come to the weekly sessions.

Bookings are required for child minding.

Transport available in the Penrith LGA - bookings required.

This group is for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people over the age of 16 years.

SMART (Self Management and Recovery Training) Recovery is a free group program assisting people with any problematic behaviours, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, food, shopping, internet and others. Guided by trained workers, you will learn a range of tools to manage what you are struggling with and to motivate you.


Facilitated by Aboriginal workers.

A four week program offering a hands on approach to using the "slow cooker" method. The facilitator will provide Mums with the knowledge and skills to prepare nutritious and economical meals for the family. The free, 4 week program is offered to Mums residing in the Northern Beaches LGA and commences Thursday 16th May from 11am to 1.30pm at 5 Regent St Dee Why.
