Circle of Security Parenting (Online)
Private Practice
Circle of Security is a relationship-based parenting program for parents, soon to be parents and other caregivers. Circle of Security helps you understand how children convey their needs via their behaviour. It also helps you to identify the thoughts and behaviours that you have that might impact on your ability to develop a positive relationship with your child. You will learn which of your child’s behaviours you struggle with and how to respond.

Children don’t want to behave in a way that alienates them from you however, being children they don’t know how to tell you what they are feeling or what they need. The Circle of Security program helps you identify what your child needs and how to respond to them .

The Circle of Security program provides “real life” skills, building your confidence in parenting. Most importantly the relationship between you and your child is strengthened, leading to more positive behaviours in your child.

The program consists of 2 hour sessions, via Zoom, from 7pm to 9pm for 2 weeks. Week 1 is 7 to 9pm Tue 8th, Wed 9th, Thu 10th & Week 2 is 7-9pm Tue 15th & Wed 16th
For safety, group entry is closed after the session on Tue 8th and groups are limited to 8 participants.

The program will be run during the school term. Contact Terrye for further information.
