Children in Out of Home Care
Pathways to Parenting is a group for parents who have children in out of home care, who would like to build stronger relationships with their children.
It is a specialised 8 week parenting program for children removed from the home due to child protection concerns.
It provides a safe place for:
Sharing stores and experiences.
Develops supports and resources.
Deals with issues of grief and loss.
Looks at how to repair what went wrong.
Explores the parent you want to be.
Develops skills in meeting basic child developmental needs.
Develops skills in respectful communication.
Every Tuesday 10 am - 12.30 pm.
Morning tea provided.
0-1 - Infants
2-3 - Toddlers
4-5 - Children
5-12 - Children
13-19 - Teens
