Keeping Kids in Mind Term 2,2019, Penrith “Keeping Kids in Mind” workshop is a Post Separation Parenting course.
“Keeping Kids in Mind” is a dynamic 5 week course aimed at assisting separated parents who are struggling to co-operatively co-parent supporting their children. Parents are challenged to refocus on better understanding their own children's needs during this time of family change, learn strategies to rebuild resilience in their family and develop child focused ways to negotiate with the other parent.
This course examines issues such as:
Grief and Loss after separation
The Hidden World of Children
Bridging the Gap
Looking Back, Moving Forward
All participants must register their interest in attending the course and participate in a pre-group interview prior to the course.
This course runs for 5 weeks Thursday mornings from 10am to 12:30pm commencing 16 May 2019 to 13 June 2019, at CatholicCare Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Penrith Office at CatholicCare group room rear of 326 High St, access by Higgins St, Penrith NSW 750. Street parking on High St or Higgins St.
The course fee is $ 100 for all sessions. Concessions are available.
