Keeping Kids in Mind (Morning) Term 1
“Keeping Kids in Mind” is a dynamic 5 week course aimed at assisting separated parents who are struggling to co-operatively co-parent supporting their children. Parents are challenged to refocus on better understanding their own children's needs during this time of family change, learn strategies to rebuild resilience in their family and develop child focused ways to negotiate with the other parent.
This course examines issues such as:
Grief and Loss after separation
The Hidden World of Children
Bridging the Gap
Looking Back, Moving Forward
All participants must register their interest in attending the course and participate in a pre-group interview prior to the course.
This course runs for 5 weeks Thursday mornings from 10:30am to 1pm commencing 22 February to 22 March 2018, at CatholicCare Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Penrith Office at 326 High St (entrance to car park through Higgins St) St Nicholas De Myra School and Parish car park, Penrith NSW 2750
The course fee is $ 100 for all sessions. Concessions are available.
