Keeping Kids in Mind
“Keeping Kids in Mind” is a dynamic 5 week course aimed at assisting separated parents who are struggling to co-operatively co-parent supporting their children. Parents are challenged to refocus on better understanding their own children's needs during this time of family change, learn strategies to rebuild resilience in their family and develop child focused ways to negotiate with the other parent.
This course examines issues such as:
Grief and Loss after separation
The Hidden World of Children
Bridging the Gap
Looking Back, Moving Forward
All participants must register their interest in attending the course and participate in a pre-group interview prior to the course.
This course runs for 5 weeks Monday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm commencing 26 February to 26 March 2018, at CatholicCare Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Blacktown Office at FR Kevin Dadswell Centre Hall (old St Michael's Catholic Church Presbytery) 58 Orwell St, Blacktown NSW 2148.
The course fee is $ 100 for all sessions. Concessions are available.
