Stepping Stones Triple P
Stepping Stones Triple P is a specialised program utilising the Triple P primary care model. It employs an individualised parent focus for specific child behaviour problems and includes an active skills training component to help parents of children with a developmental disability acquire new knowledge and skills, self evaluate and set their own goals for change. This brief, evidence based, family intervention aims to build relationship between parent and child and enhance parents’ self-sufficiency in managing children’s behaviour by coaching parents with skills for promoting their children’s development, social competence and self-control.
Eligibility: parents/carer’s of children with a developmental disability 2 – 12 years, who are interested in parenting skills or who have specific concerns about their child’s developmental behaviour.
