NDIS: The Basics for 0 to 8 years old

Wondering what the NDIS is all about? What does it mean for your young child?

The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) approach supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. The ECEI approach helps children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life.

Although this workshop is designed for children aged 0 to 6 years old, the majority of information will also be suitable for slighlty older children (6-8 years old).
The scheme has been rolling out across the Sydney Inner West and South East areas since July 2017.

In this introductory workshop you will:
- Learn the basic about the NDIS and how it works;
- Learn about the ECEI approach;
- Understand the eligibility entry;
-What the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) might or might not fund.

This workshop focuses on the NDIS for 0-8 year olds
Childcare not available on this occasion. Please do not bring your child/children.
