HIPPY- Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters Term 4
Do you live in the Wyong Shire?
Have you heard about the HIPPY Program?
HIPPY is a Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters and is a FREE, fun and interactive program that is delivered to parents through a combination of home visits with our Home Tutors and in fortnightly group meetings.
HIPPY is a 2 year program that begins the year before children start formal schooling and continues into the first year of school.
The activities are designed for parents to deliver the program to their child 5-6 days per week for 15 minutes per day.
All materials and resources are supplied at no cost to families.
HIPPY provides the skills and resources that will support and empower you as your child's first teacher and prepare your child for a succesful transition to school.
For more information you can contact the HIPPY Coordinator, Vicki, on 0427 428 480 by text or phone
or visit www.hippyaustralia.org.au
Uniting is funded by Department of Social Services through the Brotherhood of St Laurence to run HIPPY in the Wyong Shire.
